Our Father's World - About the Artist
My name is Evelyn Colene. For as long as I can remember, I have
loved to draw. I began painting more than 30 years ago. I was once
asked, "...what do you paint?" My thought was that God made everything
so beautiful, I didn't want to limit my art to just a few things.
When the Lord told me to begin a business with my art, I prayed
about what to call it. I remembered a song from my childhood - "This
Is My Father's World." There it was..."Our Father's World." My paintings
range from subjects like houses and animalsto people and places.
My style continues to change through the years. When I am asked
to choose a favorite painting, it's usually the one I am working
on at the time. I want to use this God-given talent to bring Him
glory. He is my inspiration - the reason I paint.
